OncoMed conducts market research with a number of oncology stakeholders and has built vibrant communities of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, clinic administrators and oncology patients.
Our most active market research focus has been in the domain of malignant hematology where we have conducted numerous projects in leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and BMT. In this community, we have built a proprietary physician database of approximately 500 physicians. This database is segmented by a number of variables (e.g. diseases treated, patient load per disease state) thus we are able to recruit in a highly targeted fashion to obtain insight from relevant physicians rather than relying on a "shotgun" recruitment approach that may yield suboptimal insight.
We regularly rely on our established permanent network of provincial physician advisors who collaborate with us to develop relevant market research surveys and questionnaires. Our advisors are regularly engaged to provide their expert insight on subjects important to our clients.
