OncoMed Consulting was founded in 2008 by Paul Hunt who has over 25 years experience in commercial oncology. Prior to founding OncoMed, Paul assumed a number of executive leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry including leadership of an Oncology Business Unit where he oversaw sales, marketing, business intelligence and medical education.
Paul possesses unique commercial expertise in both solid tumor oncology and hematological malignancies. He has directed the Canadian launches of three new products for lymphoma/leukemia. In the solid tumor arena, he has been involved in the commercialization of new drugs across a variety of disease sites including prostate, lung, breast, bladder, and ovarian cancer.
Paul holds a BSc in Chemistry and a MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto and has completed extensive executive education at Columbia, McGill, Duke and Potsdam Universities in the areas of leadership, marketing and strategy.
